Nice view over the lake. Brilliant place for one night. We enjoyed staff and location, no complaints. Having a terrace was like a dream...

We liked everything at villa degli angeli including location and staff. Convenient base for trip in Castel Gandolfo.

View from hotel is super. The patio area is nicely shaded for meeting with friends for coffee or a drink. The shuttle bus was marvellous for lifts to and from the train station for access to the city, and also to the village. Reception staff were very helpful and have good english.
Staff in dining room at breakfast time could be more attentive in replenishing the food.

The hotel has a great location across lake from Castel Gandolfo so view was great - rooms for both sister and me were smokey and that bothered us both but hotel personell were extremely nice and apologized but had no other room to offer. Think in Italy it may be difficult to keep people from smoking in room. Pity.
smoke smell in room - our rooms had no view. But they had plenty of outdoor terraces that must be just wonderful when weather warmer. Lovely location

The hotel is wonderful. They gave me a room with the lake view and a wide terrace. I had a dinner at their restaurant where you can enjoy the splended and illuminated panorama of the Albano lake. The cuisine is interesting, especially I liked the selection of the desserts. The atmosfere is very warm and all staff is very kind and friendly.
